Tried to make changes to my contract for 2 years. Nothing yet happened. I am moving to a different provider. Will let everyone I know about my problems with three so that people avoid Three.
Have you read the reviews about three.??????

I purchased a phone on contract from you with the best of intentions. Sadly I was treated with the utmost contempt and disgusting behaviour I have ever experienced in a retail outlet. As I said I visited your store in Leeds City Centre and after a long period of being ignored a female employee deigned to sit and discuss the problems I was having with the phone. After less than two minutes she stood up, apropos of nothing, and walked away whilst I was talking to her; in mid sentence! I turned to see her dealing with a new customer. I approached the manager about this and was told, “She works here. She can do what she wants”. I confronted the female employee and asked why she had walked away and she denied ever speaking to me at all despite it being only around 50 seconds earlier. I once again took up my complaint with the manager. He told he could send my phone to be fixed but it would take 10 or more days. I asked for a loan phone. He obligingly said he would arrange for me to borrow a HTC1 from the Three store in the Merrion centre. He went to the furthest corner of the store and ostensibly made a call to the Merrion Centre Three store and then returned and told me that they had a phone ready and waiting. Although I suffer from arthritis in my knees I walked up to the Merrion store only to be told that they had had no such call from their counterpart store. They had no spare phones and they had no idea what I was talking about. To my absolute dismay and shock the Commercial Street manager had actually faked a phone call to make me walk the length of Leeds City Centre presumably for a joke, or just to avoid having to deal with the problem.
I returned to the original Three store to be laughed at by the manager and other staff members (who incidentally act more like a gang of sneering youths as opposed to respectable employees) thereby humiliating me in front of other customers, and then I was merely ignored. I told the manager I was terminating my contract. I left the phone on the counter and left. If you feel this was the wrong way to deal with the situation on my behalf, I believe the same is true ten fold of your coterie of employees. I have cancelled my direct debit. I will not pay any fines or cut off fees. I am happy to take this up with the courts, my GP, The Trading Standards Institute, The Citizens Advice Bureau and BBC1’s Watchdog who have already made a programme on this sort of behaviour from mobile phone companies and have been informed by me of your conduct.

I suffer from acute depression and anxiety and arthritis in my knees and other joints. Exactly all three of these disabilities were exploited and exacerbated by my dealings with Three. You may feel obliged to refer this issue to a debt collection agency although I assure you that my being unemployed, disabled and owning no property will make the words debt collection entirely redundant in this case. I have never been treated so deplorably and you should be thoroughly ashamed. I suggest that instead of chasing me for money and hiring collection agencies you should spend the money on customer service training for your callous, rude arrogant staff.

Feel free to contact me in any manner you feel is appropriate but the likelihood is that further dealings with you will be handled by my solicitor or any/all of the aforementioned agencies and you will receive not a single from arising from this matter.

Don't expect an answer from this address. I sent a special delivery (signed for) letter of complaint and have proof it was delivered. Three claim they have never seen it. After 2 ignored complaints through their form preceding that. I have to wait a further 6 weeks before the ombudsman is interested. Add to that the ombudsman info line saying that Ofcom requires them to wait 8 weeks from the original complaint and Ofcom themselves showing me that is not the case, there is little hope unless you want to pay a solicitor it seems.

I have been with Three for over 3 yrs and recently been receiving poor customer service. My contract came to an end in the begining May 2013 and I ws interested in the new Nokia Lumia920 and they was charging me £49 but then I tol them that I can get it free from another provider. Then I was told to call back a fews day later then the phone went down to £29. Due to having 4 contract with them ( Three) I thought they would have given the Nokia phone FREE due to not chaning supplier. They decided to give me my pack number then hung up. I thought my phone got disconnected I called back the up grade team straight away and was told the office is now closed uthis really up set me and the service ii received I was not happy. I thought Three want to keep their customers happy but I was wrong. Once my other 3 contract come to an end I will not be staying with Three. BAD BAD BAD service

Been trying to contact 3 to speak to a person not a automated message but is impossible, I need a 4-6 digit pin that I do not have. When I go online on 3 and click set up/ change pin it tells me to ring a number but I still need ti type this pin in before I can set it up or speak to a person. Over a week ringing and wasting time.

For the last 2 months, I've been trying to get 3 to exchange a faulty tablet that has never worked since I got it on a pay monthly contract. I had to send it to a repair shop in Kent at my cost, twice!, but they couldn't fix it. Three finally agreed to exchange it 2 weeks ago, but strangely they don't have any exchange stock (there's plenty on their website, but that's not available to exchange, apparently).
I've been using their Complaints number 0800 358 4916 which gets through to a person (in India judging by the accents) - they ask for your account number (which is on the contract letter you get when you've signed up), Post code and date of birth. I've tried emailing, (ordinary and Complaints) but you don't get a printable copy of the email. They send an automated message saying they'll respond by a certain time, but they don't. I've been keeping a diary of all the phone calls & emails. I'm going to send a formal written complaint next and if that doesn't work, I'll contact a Solicitor.

I have recently take a contract from 3G store in Luton and after one month starting facing some problem, thinking may be its new and I am not used to it so still used the mobile. Then after a few month time one day the phone was ringing but I was unable to answer the call because the phone was freeze n sent switch off itself, try to recharge it, open it and close but nothing happen. I went to the nearest 3G store, I spoke to one guy he did the same open n close zen give me the number to call customer service and say I can't do anything. Phone customer service explained the situation he told me to go back to the store they should helped me, I reply him back, i have been sent to call customer service n now you want me to go back there. He reply oh...don't worry will helped you now, he told me something to try on my mobile if still not working need to sent for repair. Still nothing happened to my mobile and then he said I have to speak to Nokia as my handset was from nokia. After speak to nokia they have said they are coming the next day I ask them if you are going to call me wen you are near my door as I am living to the third floor and there is no bell. he reply no, normally they don't ring, only knocked the door or ring the bell. Oh how terrific day I explained my situation already and they want me to fill one more form to change my address where will be easy to collect. I have to do it again and speak to the manager and the manager promised to give me a call, I gave him my ee mobile number and ask me three times for the number, the next day he call me on the broken phone oh.....how disaster was the communication skill in 3G store. I called again speak to someone else again of the manager and to Nokia asking when are coming for the phone. She told me she will give me a ring back never came the call, I have to call again I spoke to one more manager again he said I have to speak to Nokia....they said they are coming for the phone this evening, never came, I have spent a horrific week with 3G very sad service and communication skills and unhelpful.
